Freddy Krueger

I bought myself a Sony DSC-RX100 compact camera that fits in my pocket. I am tired of using backpack and having a big camera with me whereever I go. The RX100 camera is a really, really good compact camera.
I had an idea for a picture using some of my props and used the RX100 camera to see how it works, and for this picture it worked very well I think.
I flipped the on camera flash to the wall in front of us instead of pointing it directly down. That's the main reason that it worked.

The guy wearing the Freddy Krueger sweather, glove and hat is my brother Lord Tommy Karlsen of Glencairne.

One, two, Freddy's coming for you. Three, four, better lock your door. Five, six, grab your crucifix. Seven, eight, gonna stay up late. Nine, ten, never sleep again.

This is how it was shot (raw format).

Opened the raw file in Camera Raw and turned the Clarity to +100. I never use Clarity, but it worked fine for this picture I think. It gave it a little cartoonish look that I liked.

Some retouching.

Made some parts brighter and darker, new floor and a shadow on the floor from the table.

More retouching. The left hand looks like shit though. But this is is just for fun so I didn't put that much work into it.

Desurated the picture, added a vignette, more contrast and so on and finito.
